So...scholastics is over, finally. Complete bust, with the exception of Ashley and Sarah who won for their portfolios. My ego always takes a dramatic plunge after things like that, I take failure way too personally.

Oh well, as Ms. Doty says, "I still have all the pictures beautifully framed, and no one can take that away from me." Take 'em...see if i care. :-P

I've decided that my road is creepy beyond all reason. It's in the middle of an upper-middle-class-haven, but all off to itself. Not to mention the cars abandoned on our road and set ablaze, shady cars driving up and down at night with their lights off, cars parked for long periods of time doing who knows what, and of couse......the dead body we found two days ago. Yum. I'm the only one, in the family at least, to see his face...and the large pool of blood surrounding his head.
...due to media these days, I'm so desensitized, I didn't even flinch, get naseaous, anything. They're calling it a suicide, but my question remains: why walk out of your house to a remote spot on a dead end road to end your life? Why not do it in your own home, I mean...you wouldn't care, you'd be dead...who cares if your upholstery is ruined? Plus, it was a gunshot to the head....nobody on our road heard a gunshot. Why use a silencer if you're killing yourself? So as not to disturb anyone else? How very considerate.

So yeah...that is whats new in my life lately. How's everyone else?
